- Bachelor’s degree in electrical (EEE) or Diploma in Electrical & Electronics or Power Electronics with higher experience in Power Systems and Power Electronics with sound experience in power converters.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience is required.
- knowledge of PLC, DC Drives, and Power plant experience in generator and its associates like generator controls, protection and excitation system would be preferred as an addition experience.
- Should have very good knowledge in the field of power electronics and synchronous machines (Generators and Motors).
- Person with good communication skills and capability to communicate with technical and non-technical people would be required.
- Available to travel at any time and the travel frequency shall be 90%
Job Description :
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Planning and executing with minimal professional guidance, complex technical field assignments involving the installation, modification, test, inspection or repair of our excitation products equipment.
- Analyzing/Simulating power system/Power electronic related aspects.
- Coordinating work with other groups to ensure meeting commitments typically on remotely operated maintenance and testing equipment.
- Recommend measures to improve operations and customer service.
- Following the HSE rules of the company where you are working.
- Performing complex field service operations requiring electrical & automation control skills.
- Troubleshooting and repairing equipment, applying own knowledge and experience.
- Assisting in planning and coordinating team efforts. Guiding less experienced technicians and instructing them in the proper and safe operation of equipment.
- Working non-standard schedules at field locations with exposure to varying environmental conditions.
