Job Descriptions :-
This position is responsible for performing Controllership activities in support of one or more of the American Express legal entities. The position will assist in ensuring integrity of the financial statements, proactively eliminate controllable financial risk and exposure to the business. The position will also be responsible for supporting critical business initiatives and providing accounting and reporting decision support as part of a world-class controllership organization. This includes –
- Manage month-close accounting and governance activities.
- Preparation & review of financial statements, trend analysis and variance analytics.
- Interpret critical accounting policies and resolution of accounting and reporting issues.
- Support on key organizational initiatives and ensuring change control over financial processes including accounting, reporting and compliance.
- Support annual external audit and preparation of key audit documentation.
- Support governance process through Committee and Board meetings and help strengthen the legal entity governance framework.
