So, Astrophysics is a branch of space science that applies the laws of physics and chemistry to explain the birth, life and death of stars, planets, galaxies, nebulae and other objects in the universe. It has two sibling sciences, astronomy and cosmology, and the lines between them blur. Also, Astrophysics is a science that employs the methods and principles of physics in the study of astronomical objects and phenomena. Among the subjects studied are the Sun, other stars, galaxies, extrasolar planets, the interstellar medium and the cosmic microwave background.

Astrophysics Recruitment 2021:

  • BE/ B.Tech in Electronics Engineering or equivalent from a reputed University/ Institution.
  • The candidate should have fairly good knowledge of analog electronics as well as having exposure to microcontrollers & FPGA.
  • Familiarity with Linux and Windows, C, C++ and Labview, PCB design software, OrCAD, Altium, etc.

Rs. 20,000/- (consolidated inclusive of all)


The tenure of the traineeship is initially for a period of one year and extendable for two more years subject to satisfactory performance of the candidates and requirement of the project.
