Disney+ Hotstar is an Indian subscription video-on-demand streaming service owned and operated by Star India, a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company India. In India, it features two paid subscription plans — “VIP”, which focuses on domestic programmes and sports content (including Indian Premier League), and “Premium” featuring premium international films and television series (including HBO, Showtime, Disney+ original series, FX programming and other original series from Disney Television Studios).

Eligibility
- Firstly, Strong expertise in automating Infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Ansible, Packer, Terraform, Docker
- Secondly, Expertise in managing large scale Cloud infrastructure, preferable AWS and Kubernetes
- Thirdly, Experience in developing applications using programming languages like Java, Python and Ruby
- Fourthly, Experience in handling logs and metrics at a high scale Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.
Responsibilities
- Developing reusable Infrastructure code and testing frameworks for Infrastructure
- Developing tools and frameworks to allow Hotstar engineers to provision infrastructure and manage access controls
- Design and develop solutions for cloud security, secrets management and key rotation design a centralized logging and metrics platform that can handle the Hotstar scale
- Taking on new infrastructure requirements and developing infrastructure code
- Working with service teams to help them onboard container platformScaling the Hotstar platform to handle millions of requests concurrently
- Drive solutions to reduce Mean Time To Recovery(MTTR), enable High Availability and Disaster Recovery.
