So, Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology is a government-aided institute and deemed university for the study and research of space science, located at Valiamala, Nedumangad, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. - Project Title: Development of an Atomic Layer Deposition System
- Educational Qualification / Skill: M.Tech in Electronics / Solid State Technology/ Instrumentation/ Nanotechnology/ Electrical Engineering. OR MSc in Physics / Electronics.
- Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 31,000/- + HRA
2. Post Doctoral Fellow (PDF)
- No. of Posts: 01
- Project Title: Development of an Atomic Layer Deposition System
- Educational Qualification / Skill:
- PhD in Electronics/ Physics/ Nanotechnology/ Instrumentation with hands-on experience in thin film deposition techniques.
- Experience in building instruments is desirable
- Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 47,000/- + HRA

- The tenure of the JRF/PDF is for a period of One year or co-terminus with the project whichever is earlier. Extendable on performance and need basis subject to availability of funds.
- The Institute reserves the right to terminate the appointment at any time before completion of the tenure/project if it so decides.

- Only short-listed candidates will call for a written test/interview as the case may. Candidates possessing advertised qualification, skill, experience etc., alone will be allowed to attend the written test/interview.
- Junior Research Fellow/ Post Doctoral Fellow are not entitled for hostel facility at IIST
- Candidates who are selected for the positions have to join IIST by the specified date.
- No interim correspondence will be entertained.
