Anna University Recruitment 2020: Applicents invited from eligible candidates for the following temporary Project Posts for various projects being carried out at the Institute of Remote Sensing, Anna University. The detailed eligibility and applying process further given below in the article.

So Anna University is a public state university located in Tamil Nadu, India. Also, The main campus is in Guindy, Chennai and the satellite campus is in Chromepet, Chennai. It was established on 4 September 1978.

Project Associate-II (03)

Qualifications
  • Must have at least an M.E./ M.Tech. Remote Sensing/ Geomatics, Remote Sensing, and Geomatics or equivalent.
  • Also, the Knowledge in Satellite Image Processing, GIS Analysis
  • Moreover, have a 1 Year of experience in LU/ LC Mapping
Salary

You will get Rs. 25,000/- per month

Qualifications

For Project Associate-II

  1. must have at least an M.E./ M.Tech. in Remote Sensing, Geomatics or equivalent.
  2. also have a Knowledge in Satellite Image Processing, GIS Analysis

For Project Technician

  1. Diploma in Civil/ Electronics/ Computer Science Engineering.
  2. Knowledge in CAD and GIS Digitization.
Salary
  • For Project Associate-II: Rs. 25,000/- per month
  • For Project Technician: Rs. 15,000/- per month

Qualifications

For Project Scientist

  • Must have at least a Ph.D. in Computer Science or GIS.
  • Also, have Knowledge in Satellite Image Processing/ GIS and Java/ Python Scripting/ Open Layers.
For Project Associate-II
  • M.E./ M.Tech. Remote Sensing/ Geomatics, Remote Sensing, and Geomatics or equivalent.
  • Knowledge in Web GIS and GIS analysis.

For Project Associate-I

  • B.E./ B.Tech. in Geoinformatics/ Computer Science with Knowledge in GIS Analysis OR,
  • M.Sc.,(Computer Science)/ M.C.A with Knowledge in Web design.
Salary
  1. For Project Scientist: Rs. 70,000/- per month
  2. For Project Associate-II: Rs. 37,000/- per month
  3. For Project Associate-I: Rs. 25,000/- per month
4. Preparation of Local Level CZMP in 1:5000 scale as per CRZ notification 2011

Qualifications

For Project Associate-II

  • Must have at least M.E./ M.Tech. Remote Sensing/ Geomatics, Remote Sensing, and Geomatics or equivalent.
  • Also have Knowledge in Satellite Image Processing, GIS Analysis, and handling of GPS.

For Project Associate-I

  • Must have at least a B.E./ B.Tech. in Geoinformatics/ Civil Engg./ M.Sc. in GIS or equivalent.
  • Also Knowledge in handling GPS, Total Station, and GIS.

For Project Technician

  • Must have at least a Diploma in Civil/ Electronics/ Computer Scince Engineering.
  • Also the Knowledge in handling GPS, Total Station.

For Project Associate-I

  • M.Sc.,(Computer Science)/ M.C.A with Knowledge in Web design.
Salary
  1. For Project Associate-II: Rs. 25,000/- per month
  2. For Project Technician: Rs. 15,000/- per month
  3. For Project Associate-I: Rs. 20,000/- per month

The duly filled in application in the prescribed format along with a copy of the degree and all other necessary certificates should be submitted at the following address in person or by post on or before 22.12.2020, 5.00 p.m. to The Director, Institute of Remote Sensing (IRS), Anna University, Chennai-600025.  In case there is more number of applicants, a written test will be conducted to shortlist/ select the candidates for interview.

Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a written test/ interview after scrutinizing the applications. The actual date and time of interview will be intimated by e-mail or by telephone to the shortlisted candidates. Candidates should appear for the interview with their original certificates.

Candidates attending the interview will do so at their own expense. The positions are purely temporary and the duration is for 6 months which may be extended depending on the performance with periodical breaks. Selected candidates shall report for duty immediately. The selection criteria would be as per the guidelines of Anna University.
