Senior Scientist (Fermentation Technology/ Biotechnology)
Qualification: At least M.E./M.Tech. (Chemical Engineering / Biochemical Engineering/Fermentation Technology/ Bio-Technology) with three years of relevant experience Or Ph.D. (Engg.) in Chemical Engineering/ Fermentation Technology/ Biochemical Engineering/ Biotechnology.
Experience: Experience in the area of upstream and downstream processing of biopharmaceuticals, recombinant microbial fermentation, and Product development as evidenced by publications in peer-reviewed journals/ patents.
Job description: So the Selected candidate expected to conceive and undertake industry-oriented applied research in the area of recombinant microbial fermentation, animal cell cultivation, processing for recovery, and purification of biomolecules/ intermediates/APIs.
Senior Scientist (Clinical Microbiology)
Qualification: PhD (science) in Microbiology/ Biotechnology with two years of relevant experience.
Experience: However Work experience in a BSL-3 containment facility. Research experience related to mycobacteria, bacterial pathogenesis, generating mutants, microbial immunity, and screening of compounds for the drug discovery as evidenced by publications in peer-reviewed journals/ patents.
Job description: Selected candidates would carry out research directed towards the drug discovery and development programs of the institute. The candidate would be required to lead a team and work in the BSL-3 containment facility and its management.
Senior Scientist (Intellectual Property Management)
Qualification: M.E./M.Tech. (Chemical Engineering/ Biochemical Engineering) with three years of relevant experience Or Ph.D (Science). in Chemical Sciences/ Biological Sciences with two years of relevant experience Or Ph.D.(Engg.) in Chemical Engineering/ Biochemical Engineering.
Experience: So it required that Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in IPR/Patent with experience in claim structuring/IP ownership/ administration agreements and/or commercialization. Candidate needs to have good writing and oral communication skills with computer literacy.
Job description: So the Selected candidate expected to interact with the inventors, understand the invention, find its possible applications, analyze prior arts, draft claims, interact with the CSIR-HQ, maintain records and databases and manage IP portfolio, etc.
Scientist (Business Development)
Qualification:
Most important the qualification required is M.E./M.Tech. (Chemical Engineering/ Biochemical Engineering/ Biotechnology) Or Ph.D. submitted (Science) in Chemical Sciences/ Biological Sciences.
Experience:
you must have experience in Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma in management/business development and also in industrial/ institutional business development activities such as liaison with different stakeholders, business negotiations, drafting of MoUs, technology transfer, contract management, and financial management. Candidate needs to have good writing and oral communication skills with computer literacy.

So The selected candidate expected to involve in the business development activities of the CSIR-IIIM, Jammu. He/ She will be responsible for the marketing of research and technology as well as R&D services of CSIR-IIIM. also, He/she will act as an interface between the scientific staff and industry as well as the government.
