Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (also known as IIT Kanpur or IITK). so it’s a public technical and research university located in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Also, declared to be an Institute of National Importance by the Government of India under the Institutes of Technology Act. Established in 1960 as one of the first Indian Institutes of Technology, the institute was created with the assistance of a consortium of nine US research universities as part of the Kanpur Indo-American Programme (KIAP).

1. Project Scientist (01)
Applications are invited for the temporary & contractual post of Project Scientist under the project entitled “Centre of Excellence for Large Area Flexible Electronics at IIT Kanpur” at SCDT, IIT Kanpur.
Qualifications
At least a Ph.D. degree in science in the area of physics along with two years of academic experience.
- Modeling and simulation of chemical sensor, Temperature sensor/ sensor array.
- Data mining and signal processing and data fusion.
- Sensor and sensor array intelligence, Sensors assisted disease detection.
- Development of pattern recognition methods for disease identification.
Salary
Rs. 26400-2200-66000/- per month based on qualification
Tenure
One year or till the end of the project whichever is earlier.

Qualifications
Ph.D. in Biotechnology or M.Sc.+3 Years’ Experience. At least three years’ experience in followings
- Firstly, Work experience in nanomaterials based conductive inks synthesis.
- Secondly, Hands-on experience in screen-printed techniques, electrode fabrication, electrode modification.
- Thirdly, Hands-on Experience in bio-nano composite synthesis and characterization.
- Fourthly, Expertise in enzyme isolation, purification, and immobilization techniques.
- Also, Familiar with electrochemical and optical characterization techniques, e.g. CV, LSV, Amperometry, spectrophotometry.
- last, Work experience in handling and processing of flexible substrates for biomedical applications.
Salary
Rs. 26400-2200-66000/- per month based on qualification
Tenure
One year or till the end of the project whichever is earlier.
