Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad is a public technical and research university located in Sangareddy district, Telangana, India. IITH was found in 2008, among the eight young Indian Institutes of Technology. It has 1,155 Undergraduate, 635 Masters and 893 PhD students with 222 full-time faculties.
IIT Hyderabad Recruitment 2021:
Eligibility
Essential: M.Tech or M.E. (First class) in Chemical Engineering or allied areas such as Polymer Engineering, Polymer Science and Technology and Nanotechnology. Minimum aggregate of 80% or CGPA of 8.0 and above in the M.Tech or M.E. degree. Candidate’s age not to exceed 28 years as on the date of this advertisement.
Desirable: Motivation to work in an engaging academic environment on an experimental project that also offers scope for theory development. Strong fundamentals with an interest in polymers/nanofibers. Experience with experimental work in related areas is also desirable. Valid GATE score is not mandatory but desirable.
Duration
Initial appointment will made for a period of 11 months, and based on performance, the appointment will be extended. The full duration of the project is approximately 3 years. Upon satisfactory progress and fulfilling the criteria set by the Department of Chemical Engineering, the selected candidate can register for a Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering at IIT Hyderabad.

Salary
Rs. 31,000 per month for the first two years, and Rs. 35,000 per month in the third year. HRA will paid as applicable, and as per existing norms.
Selection Process
Candidates will short-list based on their academic record, and only short-listed candidates will intimate via e-mail for an online interview with a selection committee in March 2021. Please note that merely meeting the essential criteria does not guarantee a call for an interview. The PIs reserve the right to leave the position vacant if no suitable candidate found.
